Quentin Tièche
Improvising keyboard pianist and accompanist
Quentin Tièche and Raphaël Balanche share the same passion for all keyboard instruments. They combine their musical and technical skills and experiences for catering and cultural events.
Born in Bogota (Colombia) in 1992, Quentin Tièche grew up in Geneva where he completed his entire academic musical career until obtaining a piano diploma And musicology of the High School of Music of Geneva in 2017 followed by a Master's degree in pianoforte from the same institution in 2021.
Among his interests are ancient instruments, particularly pianofortes and harmoniums. His repertoire is dedicated to Lied and melody which he explores with various promising young singers of his generation, notably Soumaya Hallak, dramatic soprano with whom he has formed a duo since 2018. He teaches piano and improvisation.
